Robert Kelker-Kelly died Saturday, Oct. 3, in St. Peters, Missouri, at age 62, police confirmed to USA TODAY. Officers responded to his home around 8:16 p.m. after a report of an unconscious man; CPR was in progress when they arrived and additional lifesaving measures were unsuccessful. Police said Kelker-Kelly had complained of chest pain shortly before becoming unresponsive, that nothing suspicious was found, and that the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event; the medical examiner released his body to a local funeral home and no cause of death has been shared publicly. Born April 18, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas, Kelker-Kelly first appeared on screen in 1987 as Sam Fowler on Another World and later played Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives from 1992 to 1995 for nearly 600 episodes. He portrayed Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital beginning in 2001 with brief returns through September 2014 and returned to Another World from 1996 to 1998 as Bobby Reno. In recent years Kelker-Kelly worked as a professional pilot in Missouri, and in February his former Days of Our Lives costar Lisa Rinna wrote in her memoir that they had a tense, verbally abusive working relationship on set.
