President Donald Trump arrived in Dublin and met Saturday with Taoiseach Micheál Martin, telling reporters he "would love to see" a unified Ireland and that it "may as well happen now." Trump also held talks with Ireland's president, Catherine Connolly, and is scheduled to address U.S. and Irish business leaders at the U.S. ambassador's residence before traveling to his oceanfront Doonbeg golf club in County Clare to watch the Irish Open. Defending champion Rory McIlroy said the tournament will feel "different" with the president in attendance. Some residents expressed annoyance at the disruption from the visit, with taxi driver Christopher Fox saying Trump was "causing mayhem" and a university student calling his attitudes "abhorrent." Organizers of left-leaning opposition parties, anti-military groups, pro-Palestinian organizations and environmentalists plan demonstrations in Dublin on Saturday. CBS News noted the Irish Open is the second European Tour event this year to be held at a Trump property, following the Nexo Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland.

After skipping the NYC 9/11 service because they wouldn’t let him give a partisan political speech, and falling asleep again in the middle of the day at the Pentagon ceremony, Trump will be in Ireland this weekend promoting his own golf resort at our expense.

This is how Trump treats his allies The Saudis-specificaly Trump's "good friend" Crown Prince MBS-apparently begged the US for help. But the Houthis ALSO spoke with Trump and asked him to stay out of it On his way to a golf tournament in Ireland-priorities, you see-Trump agreed not to intervene
