Padres top Giants 7-5, final

The Giants hit four home runs in a 7-6 loss to the Padres. Over 27 seasons at their waterfront ballpark, the Giants are 38-4 when hitting four-plus home runs. The Padres own three of the four victories by opponents.

Giants’ bid for fourth straight win done in by Padres’ fast start; fun late comeback with two outs vs. Mason Miller falls short. Plus: rough night for Molina, but excellent work from Marte and more: www.sfchronicle.com/sports/giant... via @sfchronicle

Come on, #SFGiants. The folks from the Bay Area who were in 9/11, from AA flight attendant Betty Ong to those who brought down Flight 93, should have been included in the pre-game 9/11 ceremonies. All of them were real heroes.

Come on! You’re leaving him to die on the mound! #SFGiants 🥃⚾️ #BeatPadres
