Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye threw three fourth-quarter interceptions as the Seattle Seahawks rallied to beat New England 13-10 on Wednesday night in a Super Bowl rematch at Lumen Field. Seattle starter Sam Darnold left the game with a hip injury on the opening drive, and backup Drew Lock led two late scoring drives after Seattle was held to a field goal through three quarters. Nehemiah Pritchett’s interception set up a 45-yard fourth-and-1 touchdown pass from Lock to Jaxon Smith-Njigba that tied the game, and Julian Love intercepted Maye on the next Patriots possession, leading to Jason Myers’ 26-yard field goal that gave Seattle a 13-10 lead. Maye drove New England back into position to tie or take the lead in the final minute, but Josh Jobe made a toe-tapping interception in the end zone to seal the win. The Patriots’ earlier scoring came on a 2-yard touchdown to rookie Eli Raridon and a 50-yard Andy Borregales field goal after a roughing-the-punter penalty. New England lost receiver A.J. Brown to a right ankle injury in the third quarter and did not have him return. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said, We want to be aggressive, not reckless, and Maye described his performance as unacceptable after the game.
