Nintendo Direct set for today, 45-minute showcase after Zelda stream

Nintendo will livestream two presentations: The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct on September 8th, a roughly 30-minute show that will feature the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and other Zelda 40th Anniversary projects. A general Nintendo Direct follows on September 9th at the usual timeslot and will run about 45 minutes with a focus on Nintendo Switch 2 games releasing this winter; Switch titles may appear but are expected to get less spotlight. Immediately after the September 9th Direct, Nintendo Treehouse Live will run as an extended aftershow showcasing select titles from the presentation. Nintendo said both Directs will be viewable on YouTube and via the Nintendo Today! app, and full recordings and press releases will be posted after each presentation.

Eh, deleted the post because it's probably not *all* of them that were recorded during the strike. Fire Emblem absolutely. Zelda probably. Some of the others maybe not. The bigger moral of the story is never let Nintendo dictate the Direct guy has to narrate your trailer.
