Liverpool have completed the signing of 23-year-old France forward Bradley Barcola from Paris St-Germain for a fee worth up to £123m, with an initial payment of £106m plus £17m in add-ons. Barcola has signed a five-year contract at Anfield and will wear the number 29 shirt. PSG had initially valued him at £145m; the agreed fee includes covering a solidarity payment PSG owe Lyon from his 2023 move to Paris. Liverpool made Barcola their fifth arrival of the summer after Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe, and the signing is intended to add depth following Mohamed Salah's departure, Hugo Ekitike's long-term injury and the potential sale of Cody Gakpo. Barcola prefers the left wing but can operate across the forward line; last season he scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 49 games for PSG. At the 2026 World Cup he featured in all eight of France's matches and scored three goals. Statistical measures cited by Liverpool show Barcola averaged 3.5 shots per 90, 2.06 shot-ending carries per 90, 8.69 touches in the opposition penalty area per 90 and a 9.83 expected goals total that ranked in the 95th percentile among wingers in Europe.
