Joao Pedro stuns Fulham with 31-second goal for Chelsea

João Pedro chipped Fulham keeper Bernd Leno in the 31st second to give Chelsea a 1-0 lead at Craven Cottage. Cole Palmer supplied the assist on the early goal. The match finished Fulham 2 Chelsea 3, with Josh King and Gonzalo García scoring for Fulham and Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer joining João Pedro on the scoresheet, Palmer providing the decisive winner. The result came in the opening Premier League gameweek as Chelsea's front three of João Pedro, Palmer and Morgan Rogers all opened their accounts. Several posts credited Palmer with a key role in both the opener and the winner and highlighted the attacking potential of Chelsea's new-look attack. Chelsea take three points to start the season while Fulham leave with a narrow home defeat.

That Chelsea front three could really be something. João Pedro is a top class all-round striker, and Cole Palmer is as good as anyone in the league when he's on it, Morgan Rogers has obvious quality even if he seems a bit inconsistent at times.
