Former NBA center Enes Kanter Freedom was ejected from the Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky WNBA game in Chicago on Sunday after Sky guard Natasha Cloud confronted him late in the third quarter. Cloud scored with 1:22 left in the period, did a chest bump with teammate Aicha Coulibaly, then walked toward courtside where Kanter was sitting and began yelling and pointing at him. Kanter, wearing a black shirt that read "WOMAN noun. adult human female," stepped one time onto the court as security and several Sky players moved between them and escorted him from the area. Chicago coach Tyler Marsh defended Cloud, saying the team embraces her for protecting people who need protection, and Azura Stevens said security handled a fan incident. Kanter stopped near the basket to plead with security, spun around holding up his shirt and encouraged the crowd as he walked toward the lobby, then spoke with police before departing Wintrust Arena. Cloud met with team and league security after the game and did not speak to media; the Sky lost 113-90.
