cultureJul 2, 202640899

President Donald Trump toured the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota on Wednesday and spoke with an artificial intelligence rendition of Theodore Roosevelt, quoting the AI as saying, "Every day a president faces storms most people never see, but if you keep your nerve and remember the nation comes first, you get through." Trump told the AI, "I appreciate those words, those words are fantastic," then toured exhibits including Roosevelt’s journals and a gallery of the "Man in the Arena" speech. After the tour he spoke at the Burning Hills Amphitheatre, praised Roosevelt as "an American man through and through" and called Roosevelt's life "freakin' wild." Trump said he asked the AI Roosevelt whether the Panama Canal was his greatest achievement and repeated a claim that "the Democrats gave the Panama Canal away to Panama for $1." Trump announced the library would receive $750,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities to support exhibits in its inaugural year and traveled to the event on the Freedom 250 train through the Badlands.

JFC! Trump is talking to AI Teddy Roosevelt like he’s a senior adviser. Y’all, he is so far gone, there’s no coming back.
