techJun 8, 202642513

At WWDC 2026, Apple announced a redesigned Screen Time with expanded parental controls that work across iPhone, iPad, and Mac and centralize child account management. Apple also unveiled Apple Intelligence features for Home cameras that analyze footage, generate short descriptions and summaries of activity, and surface AI-generated alerts. Apple tied the child-safety updates into systemwide capabilities such as the new Siri AI and improved dictation, enabling contextual moderation and remote approvals from other devices. Those changes aim to make it easier for parents to set limits, receive automated safety signals, and manage children’s devices without constant manual checks.
