Kansas Jayhawks reach NCAA Super Regional for first time

Kansas beat Arkansas to advance to the NCAA Super Regional, the first Super Regional in Jayhawks program history. The victory came in the NCAA Tournament regional round and sends Kansas into a Super Regional best-of-three that will decide WHO reaches the College World Series. The milestone marks the deepest postseason run in Kansas baseball history and boosts the program's chance to reach the College World Series for the first time.

KU made it to the College World Series once before (1993), but that was before the advent of Super Regionals. 2026 is the first time KU has ever hosted a Regional.
