He is not wrong. I hope that he has actually grown into the man we all want him to be. I understand his past transgressions and opinions but I think all adults have the capacity for growth. I hope that is the case here. I am not the person I was at 20, 30, 40. Life can change us for the better.
Again that a tiny rural state would elect someone like Graham Platner to a position like Senator or would even get close is not a glowing endorsement of the approach to governance that is the United States Senate, a body which just unanimously confirmed Marco Rubio
You can fit five Maines into just Houston
Abolishing that body would be impossible huh
A body that allowed Diane Feinstein to continue voting on matters of national significance long after it was obvious to even casual observers that her mentis was non compos
Honestly I've never looked at Australia or the Australians the same since I learned they saw the US Senate and went 'you know what, this is exactly what we wanted' and brought that on themselves. Everything bad about the US Constitution starts there.

Off the top of my head: Sheehy, Moreno, Blackburn & Tuberville have no business at all being in the Senate. Dems absolutely must control the Senate. If not we can't stop any judicial appts., meaning it's game over. I think we Dems can tolerate one ill-suited person for a time.

I don’t WANT politicians to “wield power.” Particularly not politicians who had Nazi tattoos. I want public servants who enact the will of the people through a system of carefully constructed checks and balances.
He has already had a journey that most Dems have not done: he got Nazi tattoos and lied about it.
Graham Platner has countless posts, stressing how important Gaza is to him, but less than a handful about Maine. He should drop out of the Senate race and challenge Hamas to govern Gaza since it’s clearly the only place on earth he cares about

Id support that, it would be an improvement over hamas, but I'd be concerned about Palestinians being under the governance of a fuy with a Nazi tattoo bc no one should be
