Pete Buttigieg holds Butte, Montana town hall and criticizes Sean Duffy
On May 17, 2026, Pete Buttigieg held a live town hall in Butte, Montana, where he took audience questions and sharply criticized Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. Buttigieg called Duffy's seven-month cross-country reality show a "national 'embarrassment'" and said Duffy was "celebrating" the trip instead of addressing transportation policy and safety concerns. By airing those criticisms in Butte, a traditionally working-class Montana town, Buttigieg framed Cabinet accountability as tied to infrastructure and safety priorities affecting rural communities.
Between Barney Frank, Wes Streeting, and Pete Buttigieg, you really have to give this whole "prominent gay dudes advancing their political interests by advocating for trans genocide" thing some deeper thought eh
Whoever came up with the "we are all faggots in the eyes of the state" line needs their mouth slapped off their face.
Really tells me most I need to know about a person when they're convinced powerless trans women are some nebulous "threat" to the rest of the queer community but not white gay men
The thing that gets me about all of this is that other than us, their targets, nobody actually gives a shit. There’s been this concentrated multi year media push to demonise us and nobody cares. And they’re gonna kill us all anyway because they figure they might as well.
Very telling imo that the right wing hysteria over Buttigieg is not really that he's a sinister agent of gender ideology, but rather that he's secretly straight and pretending otherwise for liberal clout
It's just the way they're nasty to us. Like they're doing us a favour.
