High-level meeting set to discuss return of Ukrainian children
An international coalition will hold a high-level meeting in Europe to coordinate the return of children taken from Ukraine during the war, Kaja Kallas, Vice-President of the European Commission, said. The meeting will marshal diplomatic, legal and humanitarian steps to reunite children with families and press for returns from territories under Russian control and occupied areas. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said he will meet his Georgian counterpart in Moldova as part of renewed high-level exchanges tied to the repatriation effort. The initiative matters because it aims to resolve a large humanitarian and legal issue by creating concrete pathways for family reunification and accountability.

Russia doesn’t get it: the EU is not seeking to negotiate anything on Russia’s terms, the conditions will include the trial of war criminals, demilitarization, compensation and return of Ukrainian children and lands. The collapse of the RF won’t be part of the demands, it’s inevitable.
