SixOnSaturday garden posts, spring flowers

natureMay 2, 202621279

Six on Saturday, a weekly gardening photo meme originally created by The Propagator, is now curated by Jim at Garden Ruminations and this spring contributors are posting pictures of wisteria, wild garlic, canola, irises, and helichrysum. One photographer shared wisteria at Heinrich-Heine-Haus in Lüneburg, Germany, and another photographed daisies, violets, and lady-smocks at Victoria Embankment, London in late April 2025 while quoting Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. Other posts highlight bearded and Dutch irises currently flowering and the yellow helichrysum at the Gaggero nursery, often accompanied by close-up mobile images or short blog links. The weekly sets act as a visual phenology record of spring blooms and offer practical inspiration for gardeners selecting plants, color schemes, and timing for beds and borders.
