Judge orders DOJ to stop threatening election officials
BREAKING: A federal judge just ordered the Trump DOJ to stop threatening election officials with criminal prosecution over their handling of disputes about voter qualifications. Judge Trina Thompson also ordered the Trump admin to cease demanding that election workers remove voters from rolls.
What a shitshow this election season is turning out to be! Thanks to the judges who are holding the line 🙏
SCOTUS cons: We made Trump king! Federal judges: Fuck that
For all of the people saying, "this is meaningless," please understand that this is not meaningless. It is written to be effective immediately and not to expire until the middle of November. The DOJ may appeal, but the first step is the Ninth Circuit which will agree with the Order.
this is THE MOST impeachable of offenses, election interference by Rump. congress better throw the bum out ASAP.
Great but do we think meaningless? Do what they want then defend after Tuesday
"Stop being a fascist prick you prick."

Even newer: Trump administration have no fucks to give about this.
The Trump administration asked a federal judge Friday to halt an order requiring disclosure of a 20,000-person list, arguing that releasing it could compromise law enforcement investigations.
That is some crazy sh*t, right there. The old “we’re going remove 20,000 make believe people from the voting rolls and yell, SEE I TOLD YOU” routine. Well, your honor we have a list we can’t give to you unless you make us. And if you make us you can’t call any of them to check if we’re right. JFC
What a herd of buffoons this regime is
To be honest, I'm not sure that some of this TRO is really something a judge can order.
Out the gate, I'm not sure courts in equity have authority to force the executive to " inform the Court of any pending search warrant applications, grand jury subpoenas, or other demands to access election materials or ballots pertaining to any list of individuals alleged to be ineligible to vote."
I think Carter might, though. He basically did, orally, during the ballot segregation hearing.
