House Judiciary Committee Democrats released a roughly 50-page staff report entitled The Case Against Donald Trump Emerging in the Epstein Files and DOJ’s Desperate Efforts to Cover It Up that alleges President Donald Trump was an “active participant” in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse. The report compiles accounts it says involve about 25 women who have accused Trump of rape, sexual assault, or other sexual misconduct, and it presents a previously unreported allegation from former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul that Trump raped her in November 1993. The report urges an independent special counsel or other investigations into whether the Justice Department suppressed evidence related to Epstein and his associates. Democrats issued the report eight days before the election and are calling for further document releases and prosecutions of anyone who suppressed the files. The White House denies the allegations and says Trump has been fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein, while Democrats on the Judiciary Committee say the report warrants new investigative steps.
