Meanwhile Engage DLC was announced almost 2 months before the main game, and the last wave (story) was released 3 months after the main game.

feeling for the people who are big fans of fortune's weave because regardless of validity "the game's unfinished and they're selling you back the pieces they chopped off" is the most irritating thing to read about a thing you like, and it's gonna be everywhere for the next 6-8 months.

fortunes weave being so fucking insanely massive and long and ambitious is honestly something i respect at that point because despite how long its been so far it hasnt really left me feeling like the pacing was way too slow, feels more like they genuinely made enough going on to warrant the scale
