Xbox launches Mythic Achievements for Insiders

Xbox has begun Insider testing of Mythic Achievements, a new completion trophy that players earn after finishing all of a game's original achievements. Mythic status is granted for base-game completion only, does not require achievements added later via DLC or updates, and is being applied retroactively to eligible games including some Xbox 360 titles and past completions. The Insider build also refreshes achievement notifications with new icons, animations, and custom-color matching, highlights fully completed games in achievement lists, and adds filters plus the ability to hide games from Achievement history while still counting their Gamerscore and activity. Microsoft says these updates are the first steps in a broader set of completion and milestone improvements and invites Xbox Insiders to share feedback through the Xbox Insider Hub and the Xbox Insider subreddit. The feature is rolling out now to select Insider rings as an early test before wider release.
