Silent Hill: Townfall — ✅ well, that was a whirlwind! i won’t share any spoilers, but needless to say the cinematics, sound design, & overall feeling was fantastic. 👌🏻🎮 however, the story and the characters didn’t capture me like i had hoped, and the enemies/gameplay were lacking for me. 🥲 7.5/10

Silent Hill: Townfall is still really great, I am still in *love* with the puzzles in this, maybe some of my favorites in the entire series? The hospital puzzle is *incredible* imo. Atmosphere is top notch still too.

Idk when's a good time to say this, but I really liked silent hill townfall. I think the game is really collectivist in its storytelling and themes so it's not "personal" or emotional as 2/3. But this is by far the best western silent hill IMHO. The gameplay was fantastic minus the last level.

if anything i think townfall will earn a reputation as the scariest silent hill game (outside of p.t. of course). the other games are creepier and more disturbing but none have been so consistently tense imo
