The Los Angeles Angels finished the 2026 season 62-100 after a 7-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners, the first 100-loss season in franchise history. Logan Gilbert struck out eight over four no-hit innings and retired the first 12 batters he faced before walking Moises Ballesteros to start the fifth inning; five Seattle pitchers combined for 12 strikeouts. Seattle opened the scoring when Weston Wilson drove in Cole Young in the second inning, then added two runs in the third on a Cal Raleigh RBI single and a Dominic Canzone groundout. Angels starter Yusei Kikuchi (1-7) allowed three runs on six hits over five innings with seven strikeouts and one walk. The Mariners stretched the lead in the sixth after an Angels throwing error and a two-run double by Randy Arozarena made it 6-1; Jose Siri hit a two-run homer for the Angels in the eighth. Eduard Bazardo (4-4) was credited with the win and Cooper Criswell closed the game in the ninth for Seattle.
