Drag Race UK rusical episode airs

tvSep 24, 20263263

The BBC3 broadcast of RuPaul's Drag Race UK this week featured a rusical challenge and a literary-characters runway, with multiple queens dressing as figures from children's books and fairy tales. Social posts praised the rusical as "one of the best" while many criticized the runway for leaning heavily on picture books and film adaptations. Naya Thorn, Flesh, and Alec were called out as doing well in the rusical, while Delta Quadrant was named in posts as the eliminated queen. Viewers also debated the judges' choice and the lip sync, with some accusing the editing and song selection of deciding the outcome and others calling a remaining queen's attitude unbearable. Several posts suggested the episode's drama felt forced and said the mixed challenge and runway lowered their enthusiasm for the season going forward.

Think Drag Race UK going to WOW unfortunately is a precursor of Beeb3 being canned

BBC 4 has been repeats for years now, bbc 3 puts out nothing compared to what it used to and most stuff that would be bbc three (smoggie queens etc) have gone to bbc 2. I think local networks are in danger too tbh with what they’re doing to bbc Scotland

Think you might be right Jen. Such a shame… but then dos it mean that BBC 4 now becomes BBC 3?

It really feels like there's no popular interest (money) in intellectual/arts programming, especially for 80s/90s kids. It's just Strictly, Eastenders and crap news all the way down.

#Spoilers for #DragRaceUK That musical was great, very fun, definitely going down as one of the best, but that runway was 😬 Also, sometimes youth can excuse a lot of things, but if that fucking attitude continues I'm going to scream.

The Republican Senate candidate can’t stop talking about the RuPaul’s Drag Race alumna after rival James Talarico named her as his favorite drag queen.

The runway theme being “literary characters” and almost all the queens coming as characters from children’s books 💀💀 #DragRaceUK

Naya coming out as Daisy Buchanan and then immediately admitting she’s never read The Great Gatsby and has no idea who this character is, OPEN THE SCHOOLS

If Mocha doesn’t win this series, something has gone terribly wrong with society #DragRaceUK

Blimey, sad indictment of reading that #dragraceuk literary catwalk had three children’s picture books, 2 fairy tales and 4 directly taken from the film adaptations. Although perhaps a very good ad for drag queen storytime at kids’ libraries! (Anita Piss choosing Julian is a Mermaid though 💙❤️)

Absolutely gutted at the elimination on this week’s #DragRaceUK but sadly they did do badly on the runway and the lip sync. Hope KY Kelly or Mocha win the whole thing. Also getting so sick of Paris Baby’s bad attitude.

#DragRaceUK - You can always tell who's going to sashay away by the editing of the lipsync - whichever queen gets the most camera coverage is the winner - everytime! Shame Delta Quadrant went home.
