City centre streets have been closed this week for Apple TV, understood to be filming a new series of spy thriller 'Slow Horses', based on novels by Oxford writer Mick Herron. OCC charges up to £3,500+VAT per day for 'premium filming locations'. Filming continues today on New College Lane.

Slow Horses has always been a good looking show but they have outdone themselves in the new season. There is this gloomy teal everywhere that comes from the environment and the lighting more than sloppy color grading and it really gives the city a sense of place. Lots of bright overcast skies, too.

Apple now inconveniently displays, TOBACCO CAUSES CANCER, everytime someone is smoking. It's right near the subtitles and is highly distracting. I don't need a PSA with my Slow Horses ugh!
