Traitors Ireland finale, three of final four are LGBTQ

tvSep 22, 202643669

The Traitors Ireland season finale aired with three of the final four contestants identifying as gay and the cast made up of ordinary, non-celebrity participants. Carla was a widely admired finalist but did not win, with many posts praising her likability and resilience. Anna played a decisive role at the end, credited with stopping Pozier from winning. Viewers singled out Pauric for reaching the final and Diego for playing “a blinder” in late moves. Presenter Siobhán McSweeney was later presented with a print by Kevin McGahern celebrating her reference to Gráinne Mhaol as a style inspiration on the show. Several posts called for a celebrity edition on RTÉ next year and for more older contestants in future seasons.

The mighty Siobhán McSweeney was presented with a print of my Gráinne Mhaol piece by the very lovely Kevin McGahern for her hard work on #TraitorsIRL, after she mentioned that Ireland's pirate queen Gráinne was a big style inspiration for her incredible outfits this season. No better woman! 👑

Photo of the bould Siobhán McSweeney in a room with light blue and white patterned wallpaper and a wooden floor, holding a framed print of mine of a linocut of Gráinne Mhaol.

I love when the BBC stick Irish Traitors on the iPlayer for us seachráns, Siobhán's outfits deserve a show of their own.

Give her a show where women can bring their new boyfriends on and she interrogates them #TraitorsIRL

I would happily marry that woman, cheat on her, and divorce her, just for the hate she'd hold for me for the rest of her life. Everybody needs somebody who hates them as much as she hates Pozier. #TraitorsIRL

Jen McC2

I'm gonna miss seeing her on my TV tbh.

I would pay a premium to watch this

I really thought Diego was being hooked in by Pauric O, but he played a blinder in the end. I also thought Anna would vote for Diego after the previous vote! Some twist! #TraitorsIRL

I hope Carla gets like a Centra ad or something, she deserves some cash out of all this. She was unbelievable. Could be an ad for bananas or something #traitorsIRL

The magical thing about #TraitorsIRL is that they manage to find ordinary people who aren’t trying to become reality stars. Haven’t seen that since the very first Big Brother. Great show.
