Prince Harry and Meghan pull children from UK school over security

Prince Harry and Meghan withdrew their children Archie and Lilibet from their new UK school only days after they started because their private security team was concerned the distance and heavy traffic on the original school run made it difficult to secure. The schools have not been named. The move coincides with a review of the couple's publicly funded protection after their return to live in the UK, with the Royal and VIP Executive Committee known as Ravec meeting last week to consider their case. A Risk Management Board will assess threats to the family and the level of police protection they might need, including security for Archie, aged seven, and Lilibet, aged five. The review will examine the types of trips the family makes, such as regular travel routes and school runs. The decision to change schools was described by a source close to the couple as not reflecting on the care the children received at the unnamed school. Hello! magazine first reported the school switch and no final determination on police protection has yet been reached.
