🙏 he loses at the KC again. But SCOTUS usually sides with him so I wouldn't be confident he'll lose. And I'm a certain he the kept drapes up for a reason. I think his backup plan was to inscribe his name into the marble. When the drapes come down it will be there, whether courts said no or not.
Fuck this guy. 'After a two-hour Zoom meeting, the board voted 20-3 to change the name of the building to "The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Restored and Renovated by President Donald J. Trump" and the location to “President Donald J. Trump Plaza".' www.nbcnews.com/politics/tru...
The Kennedy Center by Trump
The Kennedy Center's board of trustees voted to inscribe Trump's name below the main sign on the iconic institution's building and once again close the bulk of the performing arts venue for renovations, testing the two key components of a federal judge's order. www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...
The planned inscription of Trump's name is an attempt to work around a federal judge's order to remove the president's name from the center's title, signage and branding. U.S. District Court Judge Christopher Cooper, in the same order, blocked the board's vote to close the center for two years.
Ah, so by "testing" you meant "defying". Got it.
Great. Thatll cost the Treasury a million or so to sandblast his name off once he’s gone.
Craven cowards. Enablers will be dealt with.
