Oh hey, Lord of the Rings: War in the North got a surprise port to modern consoles and PC today! It’s one of my favorite hack-and-slash RPGs. It’s a shame it was also Snowblind’s last game. I really miss their ARPGs, like Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath. They scratch a very particular itch :c

Aspyr (who did the re-releases for most of the classic Star Wars games) just released The Lord of the Rings: War in the North & confirmed they’re working on re-releasing more classic LotR games. It’s going to happen, we’re going to finally get Two Towers & Return of the King on Switch
