Ernie Clement homered on the first pitch of the 10th inning to give the Toronto Blue Jays a 5-4 extra-innings win and clinch the series in Houston. The Blue Jays overcame a three-run deficit after Jose Altuve hit a go-ahead solo home run in the third; Houston blew a 3-0 lead and could not hold it. Alejandro Kirk and Jesús Sánchez also delivered RBIs for Toronto, Shane Bieber earned his third win, and Tyler Rogers recorded his third save. The game ended when Daulton Varsho flew out to Myles Straw to retire the side in the bottom of the 10th. Andrés Giménez contributed a heads-up defensive play in the 10th that factored into Houston failing to advance a runner on a double by Yordan Alvarez. With the win Toronto improved to 54-61 while Houston fell to 59-57, leaving Houston unable to take the season series from Toronto.
