The Thomas Crown Affair, Michael B. Jordan unveils first poster

Amazon MGM Studios released the first poster for The Thomas Crown Affair, Michael B. Jordan’s remake which he directs and stars in. The ensemble cast named in promotional posts includes Kenneth Branagh, Adria Arjona, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, and Pilou Asbæk. The studio says the film opens in theaters March 5, 2027. A teaser trailer is scheduled to drop tomorrow, timed to follow the poster reveal. Promotional copy and early social posts are positioning Jordan as the lead creative voice on the project.

I think it’s a plot necessity given the central conflict of the first movie is basically that Boseman is African and doesn’t think a great deal about racism in the west, but Michael B Jordan is American?

See I think the plot makes it more grating (even before “the Wakandan tribes shouldn’t all have the same accent”), in that T’Challa’s voice should say, whether it is New England or RP or Joburg “wow that guy had some very expensive teachers”
