Savannah Guthrie issues new video plea in search for her mother Nancy Guthrie

On Monday Savannah Guthrie posted an emotional Instagram video urging whoever kidnapped her 84-year-old mother Nancy Guthrie to “do the right thing” and tell authorities where to look, saying her family is “in agony” and “will never stop looking for her.” Nancy Guthrie vanished from her Tucson Catalina Foothills home in the early hours of February 1; Savannah said it has been 25 weeks since the abduction and that nothing about the situation has changed. A federal source told Fox News Savannah coordinated the timing of the video with law enforcement. The family is offering a reward of more than $1 million and asks anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or Tucson Crime Stoppers at 520-88-CRIME for an anonymous tip. Investigators have not publicly identified any suspects; DNA testing and other forensics have not been released and a purported ransom note and follow-up message claiming she had died have not been confirmed. Earlier in the investigation two men were detained and questioned then released without charges. The family framed the plea as a last appeal to whoever has Nancy to provide a location so searchers can bring the situation to an end.
