Dallas Wings rookie Azzi Fudd scored 30 points in the final round to win the 2026 WNBA 3-Point Contest at Wintrust Arena, becoming the first rookie to capture the event. Fudd made 21 of 27 attempts, including one moneyball shot, and beat Chicago Sky forward Bridget Carleton, who finished with 19 points. Fudd said moments after the win that she would welcome a rematch against Warriors star Stephen Curry, saying “Steph if you’re listening, I’ve been trying to get a rematch since high school.” Fudd’s 30-point round is the highest-scoring performance by a first-year player in the contest’s history. Last year’s champion Sabrina Ionescu did not compete and said she never received an official invite; Ionescu holds the contest record with 37 points set in 2023 and won the event again last year. The 3-Point Contest win capped the evening’s skills events at WNBA All-Star Weekend on Friday night.
