Coyote vs. Acme, final trailer debuts

Ketchup Entertainment released the final trailer for Coyote vs. ACME, a live-action/animation hybrid that opens in theaters on August 28. The film centers on Wile E. Coyote mounting a legal fight against ACME after decades of being maimed by its products, with Will Forte playing billboard accident lawyer Kevin Avery and John Cena as corporate counsel Buddy Crane. Dave Green directed, Samy Burch wrote the screenplay, and the story credits James Gunn, Jeremy Slater, and Burch; producers include Chris DeFaria and James Gunn. The movie adapts Ian Frazier's 1990 New Yorker article and was produced by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation. The live-action cast also features Lana Condor, Tone Bell, P.J. Byrne, Luis Guzmán, and Martha Kelly. Looney Tunes veterans Eric Bauza and Jeff Bergman provide the animated voices. The final trailer emphasizes the film’s pitch of courtroom comedy mixed with classic Looney Tunes cartoon violence cataloged through a long list of ACME-caused calamities.
