The bar is truly so low for public figures being trans accepting that I found myself genuinely getting a bit emotional listening to Christopher Nolan use the correct name and pronouns for Elliot Page and describe how nice it was to reconnect with him after doing Inception together

Meretrix V3My personal enjoyment of his movies peaked with The Dark Knight and Inception. Dunkirk and Oppenheimer were masterful films that deserve their praise (I don't have any burning desire to watch them again). All that said, I never skip a Nolan flick. He knows what he's doing. Never a waste of money.

While I'm still on about storytellers and accuracy and which stories we choose to tell, and Christopher Nolan being brilliant at the stories he chooses to tell? I think he told a fine story with Dunkirk, but I still want to see a different story that is both more accurate and more interesting.
