Christopher Nolan says he'll wait at least three years before next film
Oppenheimer and The Odyssey are movies about men feeling guilt and shame over their life's crowning achievement bringing untold suffering into the world clearly this is an expression of Christopher Nolan's guilt for popularizing superhero movies with The Dark Knight
Someone argued that Oppenheimer is an allegory in which Oppenheimer is Nolan and the bomb is The Dark Knight and the end of the world is the end of cinema.
Nolan watching Bvs dawn of justice:
Good sir, I think you found the only reasonable take that could make one not want to see the Odyssey.
Christopher Nolan has fulfilled his dream of shooting a feature film entirely on IMAX film with "The Odyssey."
I’ll be watching it on iPhone 5
It always strikes me as funny anytime Nolan, and other filmmakers, promote IMAX as saving movie theaters. The true appeal of movie theaters is supposed to be about accessibility (sharing a dream together), but how many rural towns do you know of that carry IMAX theaters?
Christopher Nolan did his BIGGEST one omg. 100/10. I just might have to catch another showing.
Y’all gotta see it. Whether you’re familiar with the story or not, this is worth the 3 hours fr 😭
I saw it tonight and the theater was clapping and cheering. It was lit. I loved it. I’m glad folks are enjoying it too.
They were squozed up in the Trojan Horse like:
Just was saying that! So so so good! Did you see it in imax?
As a huge fan of his work I AM READY. Im hoping it moves me like Interstellar did
Looked up "Christopher Nolan filmography" on Google and it included Man of Steel and a couple other Zack Snyder movies
He has a producer credit on a bunch of the DC stuff because of the Batman movies. Not sure if he was involved in any real capacity.
Nolan also co-wrote the original Iliad, Homer forced him out of the sequel. That's why he was so hellbent on making the motion picture The Odyssey.
Babe pig in the city was pretty heartwarming
I’m genuinely curious just how much producing Nolan actually did on those movies, since his public persona is very much “guy who would not sanction your buffoonery”
Me hearing everyone praise the odyssey movie And wondering do I really want to subject myself to a fucking Nolan film (I really hate Christopher Nolan)
Like how pretentious is it? Is it like all of Nolan’s other films or does it not ooze Nolan constantly?
haven't seen it yet but
Or you could watch the '90s miniseries.
Play Super Mario Odyssey for the story
His movies are hot garbage. As a Batman fan I will never forgive him.
His last 3 films were so bad. I refuse to get caught up in the hype for this one.
