Today's Bird of the Day theme is Corvidae, a community prompt calling for crows, jays, magpies, rooks, and other corvids. The gallery is full of field photos and bird art: an American Crow photograph, a Yellow-billed Magpie illustration, Blue Jay portraits and fledglings, a Hooded Crow sighting from South Gower, and a Rook shown with a full crop in south Cheshire. Other entries include Torresian and Steller's jays, a smug Torresian Crow, two magpie friends sharing lunch, and a fledgling Chough posing in a tourist area.
