I wonder why US outlets/organizations seem to think wildfire smoke holds Canadian citizenship? Most of those forests existed prior to the current country boundaries. And its not like the smoke is going to stop at the border.

This morning the sun is shrouded. I never saw a smoky sunset until I was 16. And then it was near the Canadian border, hours north of me. Now it is a normal thing for the summer. At the treeline you can see smoke. This is from the BWCA fires in Northern MN. Taken near the east side of St. Paul.
