The MLB announced that Philadelphia outfielder Brandon Marsh will start for the National League at the 2026 All-Star Game in Philadelphia, receiving the most votes of any outfielder in the league. The All-Star rosters include five Phillies, Marsh, Bryce Harper, Cristopher Sanchez, Jhoan Duran, and Kyle Schwarber, tied with the Dodgers and Braves for the most selections. Marsh is making his first All-Star appearance after batting .315 with 15 home runs and 46 RBIs this season, tied for sixth in batting average and one homer shy of his career best. Jhoan Duran also makes his first All-Star team after converting 21 of 22 save opportunities, throwing 29.2 innings with a 1.52 ERA and earning June Reliever of the Month honors. Bryce Harper earns his ninth career All-Star nod and was MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred’s designated "legend pick"; Harper finished third in voting for starting first baseman behind Matt Olson and Freddie Freeman. The game is set for Citizens Bank Park in 10 days, the first All-Star Game at that park and part of Philadelphia’s 250th anniversary celebrations, marking the Phillies’ fourth time hosting the Midsummer Classic.
