Don Callis Family attacks Andrade El Idolo on AEW Dynamite

On AEW Dynamite Andrade El Idolo announced he was done with the Don Callis Family and was then assaulted at ringside by members of the Don Callis Family ahead of Kevin Knight’s TNT Championship match against Lio Rush. Kevin Knight went on to retain the TNT Title against Lio Rush that night. Earlier in the episode Don Callis interrupted a potential Darby Allin challenge, saying Darby would not get a shot while Callis had anything to say, and told viewers he would not rest until he saw Darby. The show also featured Lio Rush frightening Don Callis before the commercial break, highlighting growing tensions between Callis, his stable, and other AEW wrestlers. Andrade’s public split and the physical attack set up new feuds for Andrade and leave the Don Callis Family’s control over TNT Title opportunities as an active storyline heading toward the next episodes.
