NBA Cup group draw announced for 2026

The NBA announced the six 2026 NBA Cup groups of five teams each, with group play starting October 30 and eight teams advancing from group play into knockout rounds. The Cup championship will be held at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, moving the final from its previous Las Vegas site. The Philadelphia 76ers were placed in Eastern Conference Group B alongside the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat. The Toronto Raptors drew Detroit, Orlando, Milwaukee and Brooklyn in their pool. Western Group C features the Portland Trail Blazers with the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs. HoopsRumors praised Hinkle Fieldhouse as a historic, must-see arena while urging the NBA to preserve the venue’s look rather than using themed courts.
