Zia Yusuf appears again on BBC's Question Time

Zia Yusuf, identified as a Reform UK spokesperson, appeared again on BBC Question Time and said he has not stood for election. He spoke on the programme as Reform's Home Affairs spokesperson while clarifying he is not an elected MP or official. Posts about the appearance said Yusuf wanted to be put forward as a candidate but that Reform blocked his candidacy, and they questioned why high-profile Reform figures such as Nigel Farage and other elected MPs were not on the panel instead. One post praised Muhammad Zia Yusuf's comments about Conservative corruption during the Covid period and asked why his boss welcomed many former Conservatives into Reform Ltd. Other posts questioned whether Reform operates as a private company rather than a conventional political party and called for clarification of Yusuf's status and the party's candidate-selection process.
