The inaugural Global Beatles Day on June 25 honors The Beatles' June 25, 1967 Our World broadcast, when the band debuted "All You Need Is Love" live via satellite to an estimated 400 million viewers. The 2026 observance includes messages from Yoko Ono and Sean Ono Lennon on TheBeatles.com and a newly listed 2026 Beatles compilation that features "All You Need Is Love." Independent record shops and cultural venues staged local events, Electric Fetus offered free posters and an Abbey Road photo op while UMusic Shop NY promoted a themed playlist. Organizers and academic outlets scheduled additional programming and special issues, extending the anniversary into a week of celebrations and releases through June 26.
