Toy Story 5 opens to strong box office and mixed reviews

Toy Story 5's record opening weekend has kicked off a creative split in the fandom, centered on the film's unexpectedly existential tone. A large strand of creators insists the saga ended with Toy Story 3 and treats the sequel as an unnecessary extension, while others lean into the movie's bleak questions about toys' purpose and obsolescence. The new iPad-like antagonist has become a recurring symbol in posts, and the tag swings between profanity-laced riffs about franchise fatigue and quieter pockets of appreciation for specific scenes.

My single crankiest old lady opinion is that I simply cannot be that fussed about "plot holes" like this. Buzz doesn't move around humans in Toy Story 1 because he is obeying an innate programming beyond his free will, like how you can't stop your heart beating. screenrant.com/toy-story-5-...
