Cenac averaged 9.5 points and 7.9 rebounds for Houston in 2025-26 and shot nearly 75 percent at the rim, showing finishing and rebounding instincts. ESPN had ranked Cenac as the No. 19 prospect, so Boston landed a prospect who fell into the late first round. The pick adds length behind Nikola Vucevic and Amari Williams, giving the Celtics a developmental center who can bolster frontcourt depth if his perimeter shooting and overall polish improve.
