A cactus from the Mammilliara specie blooming during summer time, probably thanks to the heat wave.

The flowers are dark pink and the center is yellow, they look like cones when closed and slowly opens from bottom to top.

It looks like a crown of flowers. (Or a flowery censor bar)

Diagnosed with severe heart failure last year (FAD my arteries are lovely and clear and my cholesterol normal - for any "judgements"). I have to take a great many meds all of which affect temperature control . To be honest this weather is rather scary. I know what to do, but even so....

UK folks, with the heatwave ahead... Open your windows AT NIGHT, and then close everything, including the blinds. The cool air will stay trapped longer. Do not open anything during the day If you have one, use your dehumidifier so you can breathe again ! And stay hydrated 🫶
