Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guillemot dies in plane crash
Claude Guillemot, 69, co-founder of Ubisoft, died alongside a second person when a Cessna 421 crashed near the La Baule aerodrome in western France. The twin-engine aircraft had taken off from Rennes; both occupants were killed and a fire at the scene delayed identification. Guillemot helped build Ubisoft into a major game publisher and was instrumental in franchises including Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Rayman and Prince of Persia, making his death a significant loss for the games industry.

Say what you will about Ubisoft, nasty way to go. RIP
I hope they have microtransactions in hell
Which sex pest is getting promoted because this sex pest died
Ubisoft has never been too big on flight simulators.
And nothing of value was lost.
The pilot got confused as his map was too dang full of colored markers
Even if you hate Ubisoft (which trust me I do too) we can all agree that this is awful. This is legit sad.
Yikes... The gaming public may not have liked him (at all), but an awful way to go... As if Ubisoft's problems couldn't get any worse. Wonder if this will force the brother to sell or double down...
Good riddance. A damn shame others were swept up in this too, though.
You guys are fucking psychos
Dude didn't buy the DLC that properly ends the story (lands the plane).
Shit man. I don't wanna see Ubisoft dissolve :( prayers to those involved
