Experts: excavators from multinationals used in Israeli demolitions

Geolocated images show Israeli forces using excavators and bulldozers manufactured by Caterpillar, Volvo, Hitachi, Komatsu, Hyundai and Doosan to demolish homes, public utilities, shops and other structures across southern Lebanon. At least 46 south Lebanese villages within and near the so-called yellow line have suffered heavy damage, much of it from demolitions since the April 17 ceasefire, in a roughly 608 square kilometer border zone. Experts warn the documented use of multinational-made construction equipment raises legal concerns about corporate complicity in potential war crimes and increases pressure for investigations, legal action and supply-chain restrictions.
