G7 agrees to boost Ukraine air defenses and interceptors
At the G7 summit in France on June 16-17, 2026, leaders pledged to expand deliveries of air defense systems, interceptor missiles, and long-range weapons to Ukraine and said they are ready to consider licensing Kyiv to produce interceptors domestically. The joint statement commits increased shipments of radars, launchers and interceptors and broadens Ukraine's access to long-range strike capabilities while stopping short of a binding production-license agreement. The announcement aims to replenish Ukrainian stockpiles after sustained Russian missile and drone campaigns and to improve protection for cities and frontline units. If G7 countries follow through with transfers and licensing decisions, Ukraine could shorten resupply timelines and reduce Western dependence on limited European missile inventories.
🇺🇦🇫🇷 Zelensky: The meetings at the G7 summit in France have already begun in a meaningful way. Emmanuel, Mr. President, thank you! The schedule for the day is serious. The main thing is to strengthen air defense for Ukraine and push diplomacy so that Russia ends its war. Peace is needed.
He should become the new NATO leader ✊😍
As long as Putin is in power there will be no peace; the elite need to overthrow him and install other leaders. The people will not overthrow Putin; they are slaves, vassals.
We should do more. We can do more. We have to do more for Ukraine.
🇺🇦 Zelensky: The first multilateral meeting today is the G7 format – Ukraine at the G7 summit. The priorities are clear: increasing the number of air defense missiles and providing licenses for their production, a winter support package, and increasing pressure on Russia.
It is important that the US is ready to provide a backstop in these areas of work. The key is that everything discussed is implemented. Russia must realize that its war will never become the norm. I thank everyone who helps.
Only one person is getting a gift ... like any child at the table getting their crayons and a drawing book, so they are kept busy and don't disturb the adults in the room.
They all walk by Trump, only Keir Starmer goes up to him and shakes his hand. LOL
Solidarity with Ukraine! 🇺🇦 What's the world waiting for? More words or decisive action?
Everyone shows Zelensky respect, not Trump.
