Kyle Schwarber launched a 4th-inning solo home run off Tyler Phillips, his 25th of the season, moving into sole possession of Major League Baseball's home-run lead. The line-drive blast traveled 352 feet with a 96.6 mph exit velocity and a 23 degree launch angle at Citizens Bank Park. Schwarber was in the Phillies' lineup at first base for the first time since Oct. 22, 2021, and Philadelphia defeated the Miami Marlins 8-2. Schwarber's power surge gives the Phillies a middle-of-order slugger as they rely on run production down the stretch.
