Spottycat ΘΔ𓃮2It's a cute idea. A flip phone that runs Android apps, plays SIDs, and comes with a transparent case option probably won't take off. I think it's going to be yet another obscure Commodore revival product. Maybe they could try bringing back the Commodore programmable thermostat from the 80s next.

I think a lot of people being negative about the Commodore Callback are kinda missing the point. I mean it’s a rubbish product , too expensive, and nobody asked for it. So in that regard it perfectly evokes memories of the late 80s - early 90s period of Commodore. This is peak nostalgia.

Antiques For Geeks2I think there’s a massive expectation gap at the root. Some expected New Commodore to be just like old. And they’ve been encouraged with posts about Amiga, hiring ex-CBM engineers etc. New Commodore is a marketing/packaging company mistaken for a tech company.
