Dead by Daylight celebrated its 10th anniversary with a livestream that previewed upcoming in-game content and confirmed a Blumhouse-produced feature film. The film announcement named Thordur Palsson as director, credited Alexandre Aja and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick as writers, and set production to begin in 2027. Creators are releasing cosplay, illustrations, short animatics and edits focused on the biggest reveals, especially a Scooby-Doo crossover, a newly announced First Nations survivor, and a long-awaited mall map. Fans also highlighted plans for adding voice acting to older chapters and called out specific characters like Hinako, Grace Ashcroft and Jason as wish-list additions.
