Lord Mann report recommends banning pro-Palestinian badges for NHS staff

politicsJun 4, 202626360

Lord Mann's independent review into antisemitism within the NHS recommends banning pro-Palestinian political badges on staff uniforms. The recommendation is one of several the review makes to tackle antisemitism across NHS workplaces. If NHS trusts implement the ban, it would restrict visible political symbols at work and raise questions about staff freedom of expression and institutional neutrality toward patients.

"NHS staff could be barred from wearing.. pro Palestinian symbols on their uniforms.. [this] is one of several recommendations in a review into antisemitism.. within the NHS" This isnt about tackling antisemitism. Its about cracking down on any display of support 4 Palestinians

Because it is illegal to show solidarity with their murdered colleagues in Gaza ? Dehumanisation is complete. Roll on Nuremberg2.

And who conducted the review? What are their known allegiances?

Simple solution. Non NHS employees wear scrubs on marches in large numbers. Completely ridiculing the Zionist narrative is the best way forward. From the river to the seaโ€ฆ

Are we going to see the removal of NHS workers who served in the IDF? Surely, someone who participates in crimes against humanity is not likely to treat everyone humanly.

supporting the human rights of Palestinians is not anti-semetic

Isn't this very similar to the case brought by a nurse who was sacked for wearing a crucifix? She won the case. christianconcern.com/ccpressrelea...

The supreme irony about "antisemitism" being that, if anyone could be considered a Semitic people (yeah, yeah, no such thing) it's the Palestinians. Never has a word been so abused and weaponised to justify the annihilation of a people and the theft of their homeland, and to silence all objection

whiffler.bsky.social3

Of course - because protecting some largely fictional hurty feelings is more important than showing solidarity with a people subject to genocide. Fucking disgraceful.

Well thereโ€™s an assumption laden conflation. Maybe the review recommendations need a review ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
